As Senior Designer at Music Choice, I led the multimedia design team and oversee all creative across a wide range of products and platforms, ensuring compliance with brand guidelines and implementing updates and expansions to the brand look and feel. My work included motion graphics for original content, shows and campaigns, as well as art direction and photography for artist shoots in the Music Choice studios.

One of the largest projects I led was the redesign of both the legacy television product (above) as well as the interactive on-demand television product (below). The products had not been updated since 2008, and a major overhaul of the interactive product was necessary to roll out new functionality in order to bring Music Choice in line with its competitors. After landing on a streamlined and minimalist design for the interactive product, the two product designs were brought in line with each other. The Music Choice mobile development team was then able to apply this new design language to the mobile app under my design direction.

One of the creative department’s responsibilities was to come up with the look and feel for monthly marketing campaigns or stunts. These campaigns often involved creating miniature brands unto themselves in order to form a cohesive family of content and to differentiate them from the standard recurring Music Choice fare.

With such a small but mighty creative team, we sometimes had to step in to perform tasks beyond the scope of our every day roles. Below are samples of some of the artist photo shoots I had the opportunity to art direct and capture in the Music Choice studios.

Part of my job at Music Choice was to create custom motion and title graphics for original content shot in the Music Choice studios. Below are some examples of this type of work.
